Aviagen Rounds Out Third Webinar Series with a Discussion on Nutrition and Its Impact on Bird Health, Welfare and Performance

On June 2, Aviagen Nutrition Specialist Emilio Cura will lead Latin American customers in a conversation on the importance of good nutrition for healthy development and performance of a young chick.

About Emilio Cura

Cura benefits Latin American poultry producers with significant nutrition expertise and more than 15 years of experience in the animal nutrition industry. Before joining Aviagen, he served as Agricultural Manager for Colombia and Senior Poultry Nutritionist for Central America at Cargill Animal Protein, Latin America. In this role, he led poultry integration and nutrition efforts, interacting with various levels of the poultry supply chain. He achieved a Bachelor of Animal Science degree from the University of Colombia and a Master of Animal Nutrition from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRS) in Brazil.

This nutrition webinar marks the last in Aviagen’s third webinar series. Aviagen is committed to the success of customers throughout Latin America, and introduced the webinars as a way to remain in close contact with them and continue to provide them with the latest knowledge and developments to strengthen their poultry businesses throughout the current COVID-19 pandemic.

  • 2:00 p.m. in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Peru;
  • 1:00 p.m in other Central American countries.
