CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America looks forward to engaging with other industry specialists during the Symposium of Technical Qualification: Incubation, Broiler Production and Nutrition, which will take place Sept. 20-22. Aviagen will be the official sponsor of this online event. Organized by the Santa Catarina Poultry Association (ACAV), the Symposium will bring together poultry professionals to discuss best practices and current issues affecting the industry in Brazil – one of the world’s largest and most advanced poultry value chains.
Sessions dedicated to improving chick quality
In a parallel room on the first day of the event, Aviagen will lead a discussion on "Strengthening the quality of day-old chicks.” Presented by Felipe Kroetz Neto, Aviagen Brazil’s Regional Supervisor of Technical Services, the session will cover the role of incubation in enhancing chick health and welfare, while Aviagen’s global nutrition specialist Emilio Cura will address the importance of nutrition.

On Sept. 22 in the main room, Aviagen Brazil’s Manager of Technical Services Marco Aurélio Romagnole de Araújo will present the topic "Management of breeding males for high performance.”
