CAMPINAS, Brazil – As the COVID-19 global pandemic persists, the team at Aviagen® Latin America remains committed to keeping in touch with customers, sharing with them the tools and knowledge to strengthen their success.
The team has now kicked off the third edition of its special webinar series. Consisting of nine online meetings, the upcoming edition will see Arbor Acres® and Ross® poultry producers throughout Latin America exchanging ideas on effective management techniques to maximize the health, well-being, efficiency and productivity of broilers and breeders in the face of the current world situation.
During all sessions in the Aviagen’s webinar series, Aviagen experts, as well as those from the industry and academia, will engage customers in thought-provoking discussions on current hot topics.
Scheduled for April 7 and led by Aviagen’s Global Nutrition Specialist Emilio Cura (pictured), the first webinar in the new series will focus on the theme, "Tools to optimize broiler performance with raw material costs on the rise.”
"Aviagen is committed to our poultry producers in Latin America, and we work hard to add value to their businesses every day, continually equipping them with everything they need to achieve success in an increasingly competitive market," commented Jorge Amado, Aviagen's Technical Services Manager in Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean (CAME).
Amado went on to explain the customer benefits of virtual conferences. "For the past year, we have all confronted unprecedented situations. Because face-to-face meetings are still challenging, we will continue to leverage technology to stay close to our customers. While nothing can replace physical meetings, our webinars have been extremely successful, as we welcomed more than 12,000 customers to 22 webinars during 2020, with an average of 50 attendees each. Thus, due to the efficiency of the webinar format, the reach of these events is very broad."
